RATATATATA! - Theo Maassen, Ilse Warringa, Plien & Bianca e.a.
You get a top cast on blistering form: Theo Maassen, Ilse Warringa, Plien van Bennekom, Bianca Krijgsman, Steyn de Leeuwe and Rop Verheijen join forces. In RATATATATA! we meet a classic theatre company in the nerve-racking weeks between the first read-through and the premiere. What begins as an artistic collaboration soon turns out to be a real snake pit in which everyone craves attention and success. From a neurotic playwright and a burnt-out star actress to a talentless revue artiste and her trigger-happy bodyguard, everyone is fighting for their place in the spotlight.
RATATATATA! crackles with energy: witty, cheeky and at the same time painfully recognisable. Because beneath all the glitter lies a simple question: how far will you go for success?
Don’t expect a neat little play or a cabaret racket, but a show that is practically bursting at the seams with zest for life.
