In a swamp far away from civilization, Shrek lives, an Oger who appreciates his peace. His peaceful life is disturbed when Mr. Farquaad makes all fairy -tale characters from his rich and sends them directly to the swamp of Shrek. Determined to get his swamp again for himself, Shrek will get a story. Against his will he is accompanied by donkey, who turns out to be able to keep everything except his mouth. While Shrek and donkey are on the road, Lord Farquaad has dropped his eye on Princess Fiona. She is trapped in a tower guarded by a fire -breathing dragon. The two close a deal: Mr. Farquaad gives Shrek back the swamp, when Shrek Princess Fiona starts saving for him. Shrek, not exactly the type of hero, agrees and starts an adventure full of humor and unexpected twists, together with the talking donkey ...
