Lloyd plays a young man who tries to overcome his fear of the female gender by writing a book about it The art of seduction . On the way to the publisher, he meets a girl with whom he slowly starts getting some self -confidence. But if his uncertainty still wins, she threatens to marry a bad guy. A dizzying chase follows, full of bizarre stunts, to prevent that marriage.

When the film was released in 1924, it was so popular that cinemas continued to run non-stop for a full room for weeks. And how can you better guide a Jazz Age film than with a super-rising score, performed by a large jazz ensemble with musicians from home and abroad, led by film pianist Daan van den Hurk.
