Choreographer Stijn Celis made a contemporary adaptation of Swan Lake for the whole family. After the successful tour a few years ago, Introdans brings this world-famous classic back to the stage in a fresh, modern version. The dance language is powerful and expressive, with room for poetry, grotesque humor and a rich imagination.

This adaptation focuses on the tense relationship between Prince Siegfried and his overbearing mother, the Queen. Siegfried's desire to escape the clutches of the monarchy gives the story extra depth. Themes such as awakening the senses and finding one's own path make the performance recognizable and compelling, also for young spectators.

Swan Lake is a large-scale spectacle in which the entire Introdans ensemble shines. An impressive decor and theatrical discoveries enhance the story, supported by Tchaikovsky's timeless and moving music. The result is a fascinating journey in which not a moment is boring.
