This also applies to To do, a performance about love in times of the urge to control and the search for guidance in a world that demands more and more of us. Because life is often a long checklist. Is that a dystopian final image, or a recognizable attempt to get a grip on an increasingly complex reality? In notebooks and digital notes we express our daily worries, deepest desires, greatest fears, scribbles, ambitious plans and things that cannot tolerate the light of day.

Theatre makers Nastaran Razawi Khorasani and Matijs Jansen write a long, candid to-do list with which they try to interpret their lives, optimize their happiness, keep their relationships in balance, take care of the children as best as possible, reflect on the spirit of the times and not alienate themselves from the country in which they live.
