On Saturday, July 13, 1985, the legendary live AID took place, an international benefit concert that lasted no less than 16 hours. The event took place simultaneously at two locations: the JFK Stadium in Philadelphia, United States, and the Wembley Stadium in London, United Kingdom. Live Aid was broadcast directly in many countries and thus one of the largest media spectacles that the world had ever seen.

In tribute to the music of live aid a musical ode is brought to the legendary concert 40 years later. We make a journey back to the 80s with the biggest hits from, among others, David Bowie, Sting, U2, Simple Minds, Elton John, Led Zeppelin, The Who, Spandau Ballet, Phil Collins and of course Queen will not be missing! The tribute show with special guest Bert Heerink (Vandenberg, Kayak, Jan Akkerman) is performed by carefully selected professional top musicians. Fascinating stories and backgrounds, funny anecdotes and own experiences, but above all a lot of music. Everyone has their own feelings, experience and experience with the iconic concert.
