Following the successful production Wiegeling, Frisse Oren is once again developing a music performance for very young children. This time the music of Taiwanese percussionist Yung Tuan Ku is the starting point. Her compositions have their roots in Asia and travel lightly and playfully through memory and imagination. They stimulate and remind you of places you may have never been, but which still feel familiar.

Tumbler is a sensitive and musical experience for babies and their parents and grandparents. In a soft and secure environment, Frisse Oren explores the world of gravity. Rolling, tumbling, rolling, tipping, tumbling and bouncing back form the heart of this performance. The audience is invited to watch, listen, sway and sometimes tumble along.

Three musicians meet each other and the audience: a percussionist, a clarinetist and a trumpeter. Together they create an intimate and at the same time open atmosphere, in which children can react, move and become amazed again.
