People often find it hard to believe that Roel and Jos are brothers, because they are so different. Having battled it out on television for seven seasons, they are now doing so live in the theatre. Facing each other, with humour as their weapon.

Verbroedering is a topical cabaret show about a democracy under pressure, a climate going off the rails and artificial intelligence that may make us redundant. How do you deal with that? With hope or pessimism. By adapting or by staying yourself. With a wink or a witticism. In short: with Roel or with Jos.

The Netherlands is now two iconic brothers richer. In 1672 there were the De Witt brothers, in 1995 the De Boer brothers and in 2002 the Ko brothers. Roel and Jos have no horn and no jet ski, but they do have a full-length show.
