Under the direction of Ruut Weissman and accompanied by the fantastic three-man band, conducted by Menno Theunissen, Simone presents a performance full of beautiful new songs, humor and emotion.

In this performance written especially for Simone Kleinsma, with texts by Frank Houtappels, André Breedland, Jan Beuving, Jurrian van Dongen, Peer Wittenbols, Paul Groot, Yentl Schieman & Where her father operated a gas station in the sixties. When you look at the beautiful black and white photos from that time, you feel the thrill of these exciting years. With the eyes of a grown woman, Simone now looks at the city and the world of her youth.

Children in need in the spotlight with hope aid
In October we participate in the UNICEF theater month. During this special month, various theaters in the country draw attention to the power of creativity and expression in helping children in need. Because in addition to acute aid such as food and water, UNICEF offers education and psychosocial support in emergency situations. Think of children who can share their escape story through dance, theater and music. Children who can play and learn again in a safe environment after traumatic experiences. That is UNICEF's hope aid. Because every child deserves the chance to become great.

UNICEF volunteers will also be present on Friday evening, who will be happy to tell you more about their work and how you can help children in need.
