This is the beginning of the Stonewall riots, the moment when the queer community worldwide fights for equal rights. Now, more than fifty years later, queer rights are once again under pressure.

In Waiting for Marsha, a group of queer activists, led by Marvan, want to hijack World Pride 2026 to draw attention to the increasing bullying and violence against queers. The pacifist Marvan feels the growing pressure from the group not to give in to what is coming their way. But how far should they go in this?
