It is a sequel to his successful show Even Slikken, with which he toured Dutch theatres a few years ago. Now he tells the story of Mister Lasmibalsingh, the Dutch Surinamese man who wants to return to his homeland after 40 years, only to discover that he is Surinamese everywhere in the world – except in Suriname. There they now see him as a ‘tata’, so how welcome is he at home?
