Because the voice in their head is already present enough. You hear it too? The inner voice that whispers, roars, dramt. Sings kindergarten tunes on a painfully slow beat. He gives merciless criticism, or makes you dream away from reality. So Beth & Flo would prefer to ignore him, by playing hard Rachmaninov or a lightning -fast Etude by Chopin. The second cabaret show from Beth & Flo is personal and sometimes hurts a bit. The piano music of great composers such as Rachmaninov, Scriabin and Bach provides crackling fireworks of four hands on one wing and perhaps, if necessary, for comfort.
