short Bio Bertus Borgers
Bertus Borgers (Vessem, 1947) arrives at the end of the 1960s as saxophonist, singer and songwriter. He became known as band leader of O. Mr. Albert Show and Sweetdʼbuster and became ao. Guest soloist at Herman Brood, Golden Earring and Raymond van het Groenewoud.

From 1970 he produced sixteen albums with his own work and played as a session musician on countless productions. In 2012 he said goodbye to the Rock Academy in Tilburg, of which he was co-founder and board member. With The Young Retro’s he recorded two albums with New Year's Eve, Legacy (2015) and Eindhoven (2016). As an author, he released the books ʻweg from HIERʼ (2010), ʻik Hou van Hermanʼ (2011) and "The blues" (2012) crawls under our feet. In 2019 he presented the interactive photo album "Borgers - music in the family", in which he describes the history of music making in his family.
