Brilliant Moments in Harmony
harmony orchestra Sub Umbra
Music association Sub Umbra from Meerveldhoven celebrated its 90th anniversary!
Although she is the youngest harmony association in Veldhoven, Sub Umbra distinguishes itself by an adventurous and quirky approach.
As the youngest member of the musical family, Sub Umbra is open to musicians of all ages, from passionate amateurs to seasoned professionals who like to push their limits.
Always looking for new challenges, Sub Umbra likes to look beyond the boundaries of the well -known. Led by their talented conductor Arjan Gaasbeek, who completed his studies in 2017 at the Conservatory in Groningen, the orchestra strives to remain refreshing and innovative. And ambitious: after a great result at the concert competition in Zutphen in 2023, Sub Umbra is now preparing for the World Music Competition in Kerkrade (July 2026), together with orchestras of high level from all over the world!
Sub Umbra closes the musical year with the Brilliant Moments in Harmony concert. Come and experience for yourself why Sub Umbra occupies such a special place in the harmony world! www.subumbra.nl
Helmonds Music Corps
The harmony orchestra of Helmonds Muziek Corps has been led by conductor Willem van Zee since 1 August 2019.
The members of the orchestra come from the entire city and even from outside.
The orchestra aims to give at least three concerts every year, alternating classical and modern concert works: for example, the orchestra organizes the musical search for The Helmond Maestro, but it also provides atmospheric autumn and Christmas concerts.
During this exchange concert, Helmonds Muziek Corps shows the harmonic sounds in full width.
