Story
Rotterdam, just after the First World War.
Dirk and Louis were born a year apart.
They grow up in a warm nest.
The brothers become best friends and nothing seems to be able to break their bond.
Until the inevitable happens: the Second World War breaks out and it leaves its mark in every living room, in every family.
Also in the family of Dirk and Louis...

Concept
The performance consists of spectacular scenes with many special effects. The audience will be touched with music and catchy images that will grab their throats. 40-45 uses a special technical concept with moving stands and sound via individual headphones. This ensures that the audience will be drawn into the story in a unique way. To accommodate this grand concept, the location in the Midden Nederland Hallen in Barneveld will be made completely suitable for the performance. 40-45, the musical will be an exceptional production in every respect.

Please note: The performance lasts 2 hours and 15 minutes and there is no intermission. It is also not possible to leave the hall at any time because the stands rotate. 

The package includes:

• Admission ticket to the musical.
• Bus trip from door to door. Departure and return at De Schalm.
• Packed lunch with sandwich, wrap, orange juice, water, cake and fruit. 
• On the way back, the following range of drinks is available on the bus: Spa Blue, Coca Cola, Fanta, Ice Tea Green, Beer, red and white wine.

Consumptions in the Midden Nederland Hallen are at your own expense.

Timetable:

• 12:30 Ready at Theater de Schalm
• 12:45 Departure by bus
• 14:30 Arrival in Hallen in the center of the Netherlands
• 3:30 PM Start of performance
• 17:45 End of performance
• 18:15 Departure to De Schalm
• 20:00 Arrival at Theater de Schalm

After August 17, it is no longer possible to return tickets. This is in connection with the payment agreements with the theater in Barneveld.
