From Annie M.G. Schmidt to Sylvia Millecam, from Simon Carmiggelt via the ‘Fabeltjeskrant’ to Doe Maar; in ‘De Gouden Jaren’ the most remarkable figures meet in a celebration of recognition and remembrance. Along the way Van Muiswinkel scatters refreshing historical facts about dentists, headmasters and road safety. Because not éverything was better in the old days!
