What happens when the sisters Julia and Sophie look for the truth between fantasy and reality? During a nightly adventure they end up behind the gates of Efteling where something strange is going on. It seems as if everything is upside down and that nothing is right anymore. The Fakir can no longer fly on his carpet because he is afraid of heights. The clocks of Frau Schmperling are no longer running, because the mice think they are an elephant. Little Red Riding Hood is looking for her true identity. And in the "Danse Macabre" the spirits have lost their rhythm feeling. And what if these Efteling residents have to come to answer in the talk show of Eva Drienek?
