Karen Carpenter, famous for her beautiful warm voice, formed the duo the Carpenters with her brother Richard in the 1970s. Songs such as Close to you, We've only just begun and Top of the world brought them enormous success. But this success had a dark side. More than 43 years ago, at the age of only 32, Karen lost her life due to anorexia. This season, Judith Koch, now 43 years old herself, accompanied by talented musicians, brings the beautiful melodies of the Carpenters to life and it is just Yesterday once more. When Judith sings and you close your eyes, you hear Karen Carpenter.
