Spotlight on children's book writers
This afternoon there are various children's book writers on stage.Rob Scheepers and Woutrie Verduijncome read aloud from their brand new tilting children's book 'Family Flatus and the disappeared golden paint'. Rob is normally on our stage as a comedian, but today he is in the spotlight as a writer! Of course, the new book is also for sale and you can have it signed by Rob and Woutrie.
In addition, the writerJoyce van der Meijden. She is known from the 'Simon de Schaker'books. Simon is a very good footballer, has a lot of friends and a nose for adventure, just like his chess girlfriend Nikki. His dream? Simon wants to be a chess grandmaster!
Joyce is going to talk about her books and she's going to take the one and only chess quiz.
You can also play chess yourself in the foyer, where a number of chess boards are ready for you.

Of course – also in collaboration with Bibliotheek Veldhoven - there are many books to be found in the theatre this afternoon. Grab a book and start reading. Or pop on one of the reading chairs and grab the stage yourself. Walk the theatre technique route and who knows, you might even serve the real theatre spot yourself. There is plenty to do in the theatre, so come along!
