Always looking for new challenges, Sub Umbra likes to look beyond the boundaries of the well -known. Led by their talented conductor Arjan Gaasbeek, who completed his studies in 2017 at the Conservatory in Groningen, the orchestra strives to remain refreshing and innovative. With a great result at the concert competition in Zutphen in 2019 and 2023, they now set course for a new musical challenge. With the spectacular concert "La Ruta a España" they immerse the audience in the enchanting sounds and passion of Spanish music. Harmonieorkest Vleuten
Harmonie Orchestra Vleuten has been around since 1949 and fourth its 75th anniversary last year. With more than 200 active members spread over 7 orchestras, Harmonieorkest Vleuten is a large and vibrant association. Since 2014, the A-orchestra has been led by Arjan Gaasbeek and together they have been able to experience many highlights. One of those highlights was the performance in the Tivoli Vredenburg in honor of the 75th anniversary where she played a composition specially written for the jubilee year. This year there is again something very special planning: a foreign trip to Spain where they will participate in the Certamen Internacional de Bandas de Música Ciudad de Valencia. This is a prestigious concert competition for harmony orchestras that is held annually in the city of Valencia. It is the most renowned competition for harmony orchestras in its kind.
