About Hanna Bervoets
Hanna Bervoets (1984, Amsterdam) is a writer, essayist and screenwriter. In 2009, she made her debut with Of Hoe Vrouwen, after which she released further critically acclaimed and award-winning titles, such as A Modern Desire and Money Earnings. In 2021, Hanna Bervoets was the author of the Book Week Gift, What We Saw. The translation rights were sold to fourteen countries.

In addition to novels, Bervoets writes essays and reviews about media and popular (internet) culture. 

Bervoets lives and works in Amsterdam, with her girlfriend and two guinea pigs.

About Literair Café Veldhoven
Convivial, inspiring and surprising: these are the characteristics of Literair Café Veldhoven. Since its start in 2018, the event has received, among others, Splinter Chabot, Roxane van Iperen, Kluun and Lize Spit. Literary Café Veldhoven is a collaboration between the Veldhoven Library, Bruna Veldhoven, Museum 't Oude Slot and Theater de Schalm.
