In his show The Time Traveller, Nigel Otermans and his Wonder Girls make an enchanting journey through time with more than twenty large illusions! Nigel receives a mysterious chest that turns out to be a time machine. He travels back and forward in time. To the Middle Ages, when magic was strictly forbidden, to the 1950s, when variety shows had their heyday, and to the future to discover how magic was done. Will Nigel still manage to come back to our time?

Biography:

At the age of eleven, Nigel Otermans (2001), born in Maastricht, fell under the spell of magic. After that, not a day passed without an illusion. In 2019 he became Dutch Youth Champion of Stage Magic and in 2022 Dutch Champion of Illusionism during the Dutch Magical Union Magic Competition for adults. Jury member Hans Klok: 'Nigel is currently the greatest talent in his category'. Television programs including HLF8, BEAU and Game of Talents invited him. From 2021 to 2023 he performed illusion shows in Openluchttheater Valkenburg, which were received with cheers by the press and public. In December 2023, Nigel and his team played four shows almost every day at the CoIiseum in Lisbon where he was part of the Christmas Circus. In 2024, 2025 and 2026 he will tour with De Tijdreizen.
