Oliver en het avontuur van de straatkinderen (8 t/m 99 jaar)
In this brand new musical from the NJMT, Dodger returns to London, twenty years after his adventures at Fagin. A city that is buzzing with new gangs and street children who dream of the same fairy tale that Oliver once experienced: from beggar to lucky man. But Dodger knows better than anyone that not every story has a happy ending...
Dodger decides to face his past and retell Oliver's story, in his own way. He takes care of the street scoundrels of today and turns their lives into a real musical. With humor, speed and a good dose of bravery, he shows that there is always hope, even when you end up on the street.Fagin, Nancy, Bill Sykes, Mr. Bumble, all the unforgettable characters pass by. With a current twist and a new look!
The National Youth Musical Theatre (NJMT) forms an indispensable basis for this. As the breeding ground for young talent in the Netherlands, the NJMT offers children and young people from 6 to 18 years of age high-quality education in singing, dance and play. In addition to lessons in theatre, audition training and ballet, they will have the unique opportunity to put their talents into practice during a national theatre tour. This production is a great example of this: young talent that develops, grows and knows how to touch the audience with full conviction.
