Richard Groenendijk

Cabaret

Sold Out

Groenendijk has become an indispensable part of Dutch theaters. His previous performance 'Better for everyone' was received with praise from both the press and the public and he received the prestigious 'Poelifinario' for this performance, the prize for the best cabaret program of that season. An award that he received for the second time in his career.

Groenendijk is, according to the press, a jack of all trades. The reviews call him rude, subtle, endearing, sensitive, serious and, above all, very witty. A man who delivers a bloodbath of ugly insults, but always makes room for gentleness and valuable reflections. A mercilessly comedic entertainer at the top of his game. As a reviewer wrote about his previous performance:

“All brakes are released and he sets Carré on fire. Then laughter ripples through the room, as we knew from Toon Hermans.”

Also in 'Luckily you still have me', Groenendijk again takes the audience by his hand through his life. A colorful life in which there is always a fire to put out.
