Spruijt en Opperman

In ‘Altijdloos’, Spruijt en Opperman take you into that twilight zone, with spot-on songs, disarming humour and a hint of melancholy. Between jest and earnest, between together and alone, between who you are and who you try to be for someone else. How do you actually relate? To your sweetheart, to your friends, to the generation above or below you, to yourself? 

What we feel belongs to now. How we deal with it? That’s for all time. And right there, in that timeless field of tension where all sorts of things are going on, something emerges that you can’t plan. Only experience.

Altijdloos is a show that makes you laugh at what you’d rather avoid, and gently touches you where you least expect it.

Bio Spruijt en Opperman:
Carlie Spruijt and Eva Opperman have formed the duo Spruijt en Opperman since 2014. In 2015 they reached the semi-final of the Groninger Studenten Cabaret Festival, after which they made their debut in 2016 with their first full-length cabaret show, ‘Zij en Ik’. In 2018 they released an album of the same name. Their second show, ‘Heimweeën’, followed, and they are currently touring with their third show, ‘Verzingeving’, in which they go in search of meaning. 

In 2026 they will storm the theatres with their fourth show, ‘Altijdloos’: a fragmentary musical cabaret show about the eternal search for how we relate to others and to ourselves. About everything that changes and everything that, time and again, stays the same.
