It has now been 40 years since Live Aid took place: the legendary benefit concert that united the world on July 13, 1985.

Music history was made from two iconic locations – Wembley Stadium in London and JFK Stadium in Philadelphia.

During the London edition, which is central to this performance, numerous major British artists took to the stage. Names such as Queen, Phil Collins, Status Quo, The Who, Eric Clapton, The Police, David Bowie, Simple Minds, Madness, Tom Jones, Led Zeppelin and Mick Jagger provided legendary and unforgettable performances.

With 40 Years – Live Aid! The Best of Britain pays a musical tribute to this historic moment. An evening full of iconic songs, memories and energy, performed by a top cast including Syb van der Ploeg, Brenda Bee, Maarten Peters and Hubert Heeringa.

A compelling journey back to the day when music changed the world.
