Thomas Heikoop (30 Aug 1994) is a singer, trumpeter and in-demand session musician. He has worked with artists such as Douwe Bob, Do, Joke Buis, Michelle David, Willie Wartaal, sor and Speelman en Speelman, is a regular in Gijs Groenteman’s house band on NPO2 and a familiar face at the melting pot of new Dutch vocal talent, Club Dauphine in Amsterdam.
He performs as a solo artist on cruises all over the world, and the list of bands he has worked with at home, abroad and in the studio is endless.
In 2020 he graduated cum laude from the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague with his show ‘In Vol Ornaat’, and in 2024 he completed his Bachelor in Jazz Trumpet at the Rotterdam Conservatory with his own music theatre show ‘Duivels Dilemma’. Now the time has come to leave the nest and follow his own path, and ‘Having a Chet with Baker’ is the first – and certainly not the last – feat of this talented singer and trumpeter.
