Timebox - Nederpop '64-'74
Together with drummer Kees Schaper and singer/guitarist Ralph Mulder, they come to the theaters in the autumn of 2025.
Under the name Timebox they pay tribute to the golden years of Dutch pop and beat music, of the rise of Beatlemania in 1964 to the iconic but also heartbreaking summer of 1974, in which the Netherlands lost the World Cup final to West Germany.
This decade marked a musical revolution in the Netherlands: from the rugged beats of Q65, The Golden Earrings and The Outsiders, to the harmonious Beatlesque Pop of the RO-D-SY and Sandy Coast. It was also the time when symphonic grand masters such as Earth & Fire set a new standard and the Nederpop appeared far beyond the borders on the charts.
In an evening -filling program, Timebox, together with a guest singer, takes the audience on an unforgettable musical journey through these magical years. With their characteristic authenticity and love of detail, they bring the rich sound of '64 -'74 to life, and let you relive the energy and magic of this iconic era.
