Top Theatermiddag
The Top Theater afternoon is intended for people with intellectual or multiple disabilities. Everyone is welcome, you don't have to be a member of KansPlus or Sien. Come yourself, with a friend, with your parents and with your brothers and sisters. The more souls, the more joy. The performance and activities are free, also for siblings.
The afternoon starts at 13:30 with various fun activities. What exactly we are going to organize is still a surprise, but it will be very fun again.
The performance is the new show of the one and only Balloon Fairy. In the Balloon Jungle, everyone is afraid of the vicious, hissing snake Sissandra! She's not happy with the other animals in the jungle, and even the Ranger has to watch out for this dangerous snake. But when something even more dangerous happens, the balloon animals have to work together. Then Sissandra discovers that the other animals are very useful after all. This show is full of surprising balloon jokes, an exciting adventure and cheerful songs. So come and have a look and join in!
If you like, you can come dressed up. For example, as a lion, tiger, elephant, ranger or whatever you want. After the show, there is a meet and greet where you can take a picture with The Balloon Fairy.
The performance is in the Great Hall of the theatre. You can sit wherever you want, just not in the front row. This is intended for wheelchair users and their supervisors.
For wheelchair users, a separate registration is required via the Theaterkassa of De Schalm. After the summer holidays (after 23 August ’26) you can call, email or just come to the counter.
A total of 120 tickets are available for the activity round. That seems like a lot, but every year they sell out quickly. So don't wait too long to book your tickets, you're sure to be there. Please note: only participants need an activity ticket, parents and other supervisors do not.
After the performance: fries, a snack and ranja
Afterwards, you can continue to eat fries. With a snack and a glass of ranja, it costs €7.50 per person.
