The story

Yuto receives a mysterious box from an old man.
“Everything you need is in here,” says the man.

But the box remains closed.
Until Yuto – just before his seventh birthday – dreams about the man… and the box is suddenly open.

Inside he finds a heart-shaped seed.
He plants it in the ground.

The boy and the tree grow up together — and a special friendship develops that touches your heart.

Yuto and the Tree is about following your heart, growing older and knowing when it's time to let go.

Theater that you really experience

You walk through a magical labyrinth of sets, past puppetry, shadows and moving drawings. You hear the story through your headphones — intimate and close, as if it were being told especially for you. Based on the picture book I give you my heart by Pimm van Hest and Sassafras de Bruyn.
