The Mermaid at the Lighthouse presents a human story full of encounters, collisions and wonder in a fairytale way. In this composite opera, with music from Purcell to Debussy and world music, we follow the inner struggle of two symbolic figures: a mermaid (acrobat and dancer) and a lighthouse keeper (bass-baritone). An invisible guide (soprano) accompanies their inner development.
