Jeugdvoorstellingen

De Bremer Street Musicians tells the story of four outsiders.

A discarded donkey, a hoarse rooster, an old dog and a cat that can no longer catch mice. The animals together form a colorful group. Individually they don't get far until they join forces. Full of energy, they plunge into a musical adventure.

After the successful Reinaert de V. Production Holland Opera and Duda Paiva Company again work together on an opera production for the whole family.

The processing by Simon van der Geest:

The bosses of the factory are tight in the size. But they are shocked by the results: the donkey (accordion) is too old, the new technology is too complicated for him. He will be written off. But the donkey has heard everything, and as soon as they try to catch him, he breaks out and flees the wide world.

On a tiny, fenced field is a dog (saxophone). A boss tries to teach him to count. But he is too wild and can't sit still, and he always gets punishment. The donkey convinces him that a free life as a street musician suits him better.

On the street they find a hen/rooster (violin) that has been slapped. Two bosses of the Legbataljon say that the them worked with them but refused to lay eggs;'Good; The Henhaan does not want to lay or kukelen, but much prefer dancing.

The donkey and the dog help the Henhaan up and take them with them. If they also come across a cat with a war trauma, the quartet is complete.

They pull further but have trouble grilling each other: the donkey is too slow, the dog shoots in all directions and the Henhaan is stubborn. When the storm erupts, the cat shrinks and no longer dares. The others sigh, but help her through it and they reconcile. They decide to start a strap: the Bremer Buitenbeentjesband.
