De Bevers zijn er bijna: a delightful musical farce
After the huge success of their real-life soap, sold-out shows at Ahoy and their comedy theatre tour, John and Kees de Bever are bringing their musical farce back to theatres in 2027. Directed by Paul van Ewijk, De Bevers zijn er bijna… promises to be a comic theatre show full of music, chaos and hilarious complications.
Together with Arijan van Bavel, Joke de Kruijf and Bas Muijs, De Bevers take the audience on a madcap camping trip. John and Kees go on holiday in their camper van, but while Kees is looking for relaxation, John can’t stop singing. Along the way they end up at various campsites, including a nudist campsite and a family campsite. There they get tangled up in absurd situations, pursued by a fanatical admirer and surrounded by colourful characters.
In the end, their adventure culminates in a big campsite party with a spectacular medley of hits.
The show is a treat for fans of De Bevers and lovers of farcical stage comedies. Expect confusion, dressing up, doors constantly opening and closing and, of course, John de Bever’s biggest hits. With a strong cast, a high media profile and a storyline in season 6 of their TV hit De Bevers, this production is a guaranteed success.
