Cats in Town, Castle of Katoen, Zuidwal and last year Tears of Smaragd, is the musical by students from the Dr. Knippenbergcollege, now a household name in Helmond. Knippenbergcollege is a humorous collection of classic fairy tales with a big nod to current events. But nothing is what it seems! While Cinderella is as usual, reduced by all her angry step sisters, Little Red Riding Hood meets a wolf in love, who wants to renounce his Wolf habits for her. And the prince of the Fairytale Forest must believe in the decision of his mother the queen and is married off. The reason: the royal family is struggling with cool image problems.
In short, a surprising musical of which the nods make an absurdist, hilarious and colorful family performance!
