Jakop Ahlbom Company
Two couples, apparently close, become entangled in a web of desires, guilt and deception. Is it pure passion, an escape from the rut, or a deep loss that drives them? Secrets are whispered and truths are twisted. How much remains hidden between loved ones and friends? And what responsibility do you take for your own actions? In the show we hear the dialogues as a voice-over of the characters while the performers in Ahlbom's unique movement language express their inner emotions. What is said, and what is silent about? The characters are at a breaking point, in which they again ask themselves and their desires. Instead of resting in what is, they look for what can still be. This poetic piece challenges both our ratio and our imagination. It makes us feel the pain, doubt and strength of loved ones in transformation.
