The Actor
A young actor rehearses for Hamlet - the role of roles that will mean his international breakthrough - under the guidance of a famous director with whom he has been working closely for years. During rehearsals, the actor is confronted with the question to what extent the performance and working method of the star director cross boundaries? What is the price he pays for creating great art?
In his vulnerable search for answers, the actor comes across memories that he has kept hidden for a long time. As he unsparingly dissects his relationship with the director, we as an audience witness the unraveling of an oppressive system and the awakening of someone who finally finds his own voice. The Actor promises to be an exciting, moving and hopeful story, in which Florian Myjer grasps one of the hottest issues of our time with both hands.
