The African Mamas bring an ode to five special artists, The Big Five of South African music in their new performance.  But apart from Mama Africa, a number of thorough South African heavyweights have left their mark on cultural life.  Even after her breakthrough as an artist, she continued to live in the townships.  Her often sharp texts were rewarded with a exile from her native country, which she partly spent in the Netherlands. Hugh Masekela has also spent a large part of his life in exile, but of course we mainly know him from a large number of impressive hits, such as' Stimela (Coal Train) ',' Don't Go Lose It Baby 'and' Bring HimLast but not least the duo Letta Mbulu and Caiphus Semenya, with immortal songs such as "Nomalanga" and "Not Yet Uhuru".  With their boundless energy and musicality, The African Mamas turns every performance into a party. Brenda Fassie, Known for Hits Like "Kuyoze Kuyovalwa" and the Emotional "Too Late For Mama," was One of Those Artists. She Continued to Live In The Townships Equally After Her Breakthrough As An Artist. Bushi Mlongo Mainly written songs about Daily Life in Soweto and Was Known for Performing Barefoot. She was exiled from her homeland, because of her or sharp lyrics, and she spent those years of exile partly in the Netherlands. Hugh Masekela also spent a significant part of his life in Exile, but of course he is mainly known for his impression list of hits, including 'Stimela (Coal Train),' 'Don't Go Lose It Baby,' and 'Bring HimWith Their Boundless Energy and Musicality, The African Mamas Turn Every Show Into A True Celebration.
