It has been 40 years since that Live Aid took place: the legendary benefit concert that united the world on July 13, 1985. Music history was made from two iconic locations – Wembley Stadium in London and JFK Stadium in Philadelphia – music history was made.

The concerts started almost simultaneously, with only a few minutes difference due to time zones. This created an unprecedented, worldwide live broadcast that brought together millions of people in a joint action against famine in Ethiopia. Live Aid became one of the most influential and large-scale benefit concerts of all time.

During the London edition, which is central to this performance, numerous major British artists took to the stage.
