Quiet Eindhoven
Quiet alleviates poverty and empowers people. That started in 2013 with the first edition of Quiet 500 as a counterpart to the Quote 500. In this glossy magazine, inspiring stories about what poverty does to people. Quiet gives a face to poverty in the Netherlands.
The magazine attracted a lot of attention and from there the first Quiet Community was born in Tilburg in 2015: a meeting place for people living in (silent) poverty. After Tilburg, 11 new communities followed throughout the country. Quiet keeps moving, the number of communities is still growing!
Come See It!
Going to the theater, festival or event with a visual impairment? Come and see it! makes live theater experiences possible for people who are blind or visually impaired.
Thanks to the live audio description and special meet & feel introduction, you can follow everything. Through headphones you can hear the audio description of our blind interpreters and miss nothing. This way, theater is fun for everyone, even if you can see less or nothing at all.
Howdo Magazine
Howdo Magazine is hot first English-language magazine for the international community in Eindhoven and surroundings. Each edition features the No Dutch Required offerings of the Wonka Podia plus an editorial on projects or themes the Wonka Podia are working on.
Holland Expat Centre South
The Holland Expat Center South brings together procedures and information to help expats and their families settle into their new living (and working) environment. Expats can get information about the region and find information about events organized specifically for the expat community at the Expat Center. The main goal is to help expats feel welcome and at home!
The Wonka Podia facilitate live No Dutch Required music acts during events hosted by the Holland Expat Center South, and in turn, the Holland Expat Center South ensures that expats interact (more) with the podia and feel (more) at home here.
Regioradar
RegioRadar Eindhoven offers an online showcase of daytime and evening cultural, leisure and sports events; local offerings that are also attractive to those who have to come from several kilometers away. You can browse an always fresh stream of program, search from your ‘mood’ (‘What are you in the mood for?’) or on the map.
Wonka Podia’s collaboration with Regioradar started media 2020 (April 2022 going live). Wonka Podia and Regioradar use the same provider in terms of technology. By connecting the systems on the back end, all theater information from Wonka Podia is automatically added to Regioradar. This makes Wonka Podia one of the important partners of this site.
Brainport Eindhoven
Wonka Podia was designated as one of Brainport Eindhoven’s 26 Regio Deals in early 2020. Regio Deal invests with the region in promoting broad prosperity: livability, settlement climate and economic strength.
