Crazy Little Things
We are the Champions: The Greatest Hits & More is the ultimate tribute to Queen as a live band. Crazy Little Things already showed in their two previous theater tours Queen: The Story and The Freddie Mercury Story that they go a little further than other Queen Tribute bands. The new show We are the Champions is all about the pure sensation of a Queen concert.
Jean-Paul Heck, music journalist, writer and drummer of the band, first saw Queen live at the age of 14. “January 30, 1979, I remember it like it was yesterday. 45 years later, I can reproduce almost every moment of that evening. The power of the band, Taylor's pounding drums, May's guitar violence, but especially the force of nature that is Freddie Mercury.”
Based on the biggest hits and deep cuts, Crazy Little Things takes you by the hand in this new show for a journey through time & space where the spotlight is put on the highlights that Queen presented live. According to Pablo Cabenda of de Volkskrant, no band in the Netherlands comes so close to Queen's sound live. Or as Leo Blokhuis once said: “Crazy Little Things is the real deal!” He echoes the beautiful words that Mercury once sang: “Let Me Entertain You!”* and that is exactly what Crazy Little Things will do with their spectacular new performance.
