A theater performance with live music inspired by the silver stylus award-winning book: The Happy Island by M. Tornqvist.
A road trip for little heroes from 6 years old
With a Peugeot 205 as a set piece, we witness the quest of a brave girl who is looking for the island of happiness. She ends up stranded on the side of the road with car trouble. While a mechanic who appears from nowhere tries to get the smoking car going, the girl travels in her colorful fantasy to three islands where she meets different characters; And each of these islands seems at first glance to be the happiest island, but each island also has its disadvantages. Because what would it be like if it was always a party? Or if you always do everything together? Or if you always have your nose in the books? And isn't happiness closer to home than you might think?
The Mechanic and the Girl is a short-lived Odyssey, a road trip for little heroes aged 6 and up. With your hair blowing in the wind, you and the girl travel to new and unknown worlds.
