La Compagnia Musicale Monteverdi
La Compagnia Musicale Monteverdi takes you, with voices and instruments, into the world of the early Baroque. On the programme are works by Claudio Monteverdi and his contemporaries. Monteverdi, the composer who, better than anyone, knew how to capture the emotion of the poetry in his music!
Suffer alongside Arianna and la Ninfa; feel the love of Tirsi and Clori; enjoy the dance-like scherzi and marvel at the double meanings and passion in text and music!
From intimate madrigal and pure instrumental music to (almost) opera, you’ll hear it all in this performance!
Made possible in part by the sponsors of Theater De Hofnar.
