'NOSTALGIE NONDEPIE' is a performance for the 'Onjeklonje' generation and their descendants.
Jacques van Gerven, together with the audience, recalls the time when the blind finch could still see clearly and the stick insect could still run the 100 meters in 10 seconds.
Accompanied by Paul Brugel and Aloys Wetzer, Jacques sings 'nèèij songs', but also Golden Hits from the past, retranslated into the Valkeswird dialect.
'NOSTALGIE NONDEPIE' is an excursion to the time when everything was better. Or are we willing to be fooled by our selective memory into thinking that we have lost something important and precious?
