Roué Verveer
Cabaret performer and stand-up comedian Roué Verveer has been at the very top of Dutch cabaret for years. With his infectious energy, sharp improvisation, razor-sharp jokes and his now-legendary big smile, he wins over audiences time and again. Anyone who has ever been to one of Roué’s shows knows one thing for sure: sitting still is not an option, because you will laugh. Hard.
In his new show ‘Vanzelfsprekend’ Roué puts our everyday certainties under the microscope. Because what do we actually still take for granted? That we have an opinion on everything? That everyone is instantly offended? Or that we get worked up about things we’d never even heard of yesterday?
With his trademark mix of humour, self-mockery and sharp observation, Roué holds up a mirror to the audience, but one that mostly makes you laugh out loud. Expect an evening full of recognisable situations, surprising twists and the unfiltered energy that only Roué can bring.
One thing, at least, really does go without saying: an evening with Roué means laughing your head off.
