Roué Verveer
Cabaret performer and stand-up comedian Roué Verveer has been one of the very best in Dutch cabaret for years. With his infectious energy, sharp improvisation, razor-sharp jokes and his now legendary big smile, he wins audiences’ hearts time after time. Anyone who has ever been to one of Roué’s shows knows one thing for sure: sitting still is not an option, because you are going to laugh. Laugh hard.
In his new show ‘Vanzelfsprekend’, Roué puts our everyday certainties under the microscope. Because what do we actually still take for granted? That we have an opinion on everything? That everyone is always instantly offended? Or that we get worked up about things we’d never even heard of yesterday?
With his trademark mix of humour, self-mockery and sharp observations, Roué holds up a mirror to the audience – but one that mostly makes you laugh out loud. Expect an evening full of recognisable situations, surprising twists and the unfiltered energy only Roué can bring.
One thing, at least, IS a given: with Roué you’re in for an evening of laughing your head off.
