Teun van den Elzen
Comedian Teun van den Elzen won the Neerlands Hoop, the cabaret prize for the most promising theater maker, with his previous performance 'Op posit'. After this success, he is back with try-outs of his new program 'They should know'. He himself says about it:
“Hello dear people, while you are reading this, I am working on my new theater performance: a show that will consist of nothing but top entertainment, laced with unrelenting social criticism, personal vulnerabilities and just the right dose of banal hilarity. I hope. At the time of writing this promotional text, I do not yet have a letter for the performance on paper. That means: I have a closing sentence and an idea for a setting. And I have a story. A big story. Too big, you might say, but I still want to tell you. I promise to do my best. Love, Teun”
Teun van den Elzen (1993) appeared on LUBACH and Dit Was Het Nieuws, can be heard as a columnist on Spijkers met Koppen and plays weekly at Comedy Club Haug.
