Tico y Aguabajo is a Colombian–Dutch jazz collective led by. pianist/composer Tico Pierhagen. Irresistible Latin grooves, funky drive and the harmonic richness of modern jazz—warm, dynamic and full of story. With piano, drums, bass, saxophone and trombone, the musicians build layered instrumental pieces in which cumbia and South American rhythms merge with improvisation. Known for their energetic live performance: a concert that takes you away, makes you feel and fully immerses you in the moment.
