Veulpoepers 3.0
They’re against it again: against the sour right-wing populism coming out of The Hague and spreading through society. Against souring each other’s lives, against minorities once again being the ones who pay the price, against the sour faces of the jealous and frustrated. And they’re for things too: enjoying ourselves together and dancing for a better world! For everyone joining in, equal pay, a good atmosphere. Naturally they do all this with the hits everyone knows, such as Den Egelantier and Twee Emmertjes Water Halen. Some are 50 years old yet still eerily topical. There is also brand-new material in which Naaijkens, with his sharp pen, takes aim at the ills of the world: privacy problems, boorishness, exploitation and climate change. In short, a band you mustn’t miss.
