Rental Family
Ticket sales for the Tuesday afternoon films are unplaced, which means that there are no fixed seats and seat numbers. You can choose a place yourself in the afternoon.
Set in modern-day Tokyo, 'Rental Family' follows an American actor (Brendan Fraser) who struggles to find meaning in his life, until he lands a special job: working for a Japanese 'rental family' agency, playing hired roles for strangers.
As he immerses himself more and more deeply in the worlds of his clients, he begins to form real bonds that blur the boundaries between play and reality. Confronted with the moral complexity of his work, he rediscovers his purpose, connection and the hidden beauty of human connections.
