This project promotes intercultural exchanges and enriched dance steel, with earlier collaborations with artists from Mauritania, India, Senegal and Morocco. Club Guy & Roni continued this exploration in collaboration with the Australasian Dance Collective and musical partner Hiiit.

The bond between humans and nature has always been fundamental, but modern societies often seem to have lost this connection. While we are looking for comfort in nature, for example by walking or observing the ocean, we can also be frustrated by small inconveniences. This decoupling has led to a reduced concept of our dependence on nature for survival and well -being.

In collaboration with the Australasian Dance Collective, Club Guy & Roni investigate the contrast between nostalgia into a slower, natural world and the fascination for emerging technologies that shape our future. The Human Odyssey highlights various cultural approaches of this universal theme and creates a dialogue that broadens cultural perspectives and artistic depth. How have environmental changes in Australia influenced the relationship with nature? Can technological progress promote a more harmonious together with nature?
